This article explains how shipping works at LOCO Scooters, what to expect after placing an order, and how to track your delivery.
Shipping to the Republic of Ireland
We use DPD and UPS to ship nationwide across Ireland.
For oversized or heavy items that cannot be shipped via standard courier services, we may use third‑party hauliers. These deliveries may take slightly longer and may not offer the same level of tracking as DPD or UPS.
In the Dublin area, some orders may be delivered directly by our in‑house fulfilment team.
Delivery timeframes (ROI)
Standard delivery: 1–3 business days from the time the order is received

Stock availability
Whether the item requires modifications (e.g. puncture‑proof tyre installation)
Oversized or palletised items
If an item has a longer delivery timeframe, this will be clearly stated on the product page.
Order cut‑off times
Orders placed after 5pm on weekdays, or at any time on weekends or Irish public holidays, are considered received at 10am on the next business day.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays.
Example:
If you place an order at 7pm on Thursday, it is considered received at 10am on Friday. Monday would count as the first business day.
DPD local depot collections
DPD depots operate independently. In some cases—especially for heavy items—the local depot may request that the customer collect the parcel directly. This is more common in Northern Ireland.

Shipping to the UK
We ship to Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales using DPD or UPS.

What happens after you place an order?
Once you place an order, you can expect the following:
Order confirmation email
Sent immediately after your order is placed.-
Dispatch & tracking email
When your order is processed and shipped, you will receive another email confirming dispatch and including your tracking number.Dispatch timing may vary if the item is a pre‑order or if stock is held in a different location.

DPD usually sends additional emails when:
The parcel is out for delivery
The parcel has been delivered

At all times, you can track your order using your tracking number provided in the dispatch email.
Click & Collect
We offer a Click & Collect option.
When collecting your order:
You must present the card used for payment
This policy is strictly enforced to prevent fraud
If we suspect fraudulent activity or need to verify an order, we reserve the right to withhold release of goods until verification is complete.
Packaging
All electric scooters and e‑bikes are shipped in clearly identifiable packaging.
If you are purchasing a scooter as a gift, you may wish to use an alternative delivery address.
Pre‑order items (including electric bikes)
Pre‑order items are not subject to standard delivery timelines
Estimated delivery dates are shown on the product page where available
If no estimate is listed, please contact us before purchasing
Pre‑order items are non‑cancellable once placed, as they are not in stock at the time of purchase.
